Moraira · Costa BlancaLiving in Moraira
Moraira is the Costa Blanca's chic fishing village: no high-rises, a small marina, boutique restaurants around a Genoese watchtower, and the turquoise El Portet bay five minutes away. Part of Teulada-Moraira, it is quietly one of the most international towns in Spain, and one of the most sought-after.
❄️ Teal months = winter-let season (Oct–May): same sun, half-empty beaches, lower rents. See winter lets →
Why Moraira
Building rules kept the skyline low, so Moraira still looks like a village: whitewashed streets, a marina, a castle on the beach and some of the best restaurants on the coast.
A sheltered horseshoe bay with calm, shallow turquoise water: paddle-board mornings ten months a year, and a beach-bar lunch when you come back in.
Around two-thirds of residents are international (British, Dutch, German, Belgian), so English is spoken everywhere, winters stay lively, and newcomers' clubs make settling in easy.

Once you've secured a rental in Moraira, you'll need to register your address (empadronamiento) with the local town hall (ayuntamiento). This is required to access healthcare, schooling and other essential services, and is often needed for residency applications. Spanish Casa guides tenants through this process as part of the move-in support included with every reservation.
Whether you're looking for a compact apartment near the old town or a family-sized villa in a quieter residential neighbourhood, our listings in Moraira are verified and updated regularly, with full support from application through to signing your contract under Spanish law (LAU).
